Pop Art Choice
1. Choose a person of your choice (photograph) Portrait (Face Only)
2. Save the image to your U Drive
***Make sure the image is large, a small image will be pixelated and poor quality when enlarged***
3. Create a New document in Illustrator 8.5" wide x 11" high Portrait
4. Next, In illustrator: File Open, find your saved image in your U Drive and open it. It will open in a seperate document.
5. Drag your image to the Untitled tab you made in the beginning. (This will give you color swatches)
6. Make a new layer. Make your image the bottom layer and lock it. You may drop the opacity first if you wish
Using the same process as the Marilyn project, create layers for different parts. Create closed paths, draw detail lines, and arrange them to create a pop art image.
